skyrim farkas not giving quests

I know I'm probably doing this a bit late, I finished the companion quest line a while back but I wanted to try and get beast blood cured but Farkas and Vilkas are not giving quests. Also Vilkas will not follow you to Ysgramor's Tomb. The quest status will switch to the Completed even though you haven't completed it. First, after sucessfully completing the objective and fast travellling back to Whiterun, the quest auto-completes itself before I can talk to Farkas. I don't know the name of that job and so I can't find it in journal. Hey guys. Fast-travel to anywhere, then come back. is there anything I can do about it? Page 1 of 2 - Purity Bug: Quest Complete for Farkas only - posted in General Skyrim Discussion: I managed to get the Purity quest (cure Farkas of lycanthrop) completed, but could not get his brother Vilkas to bring it up (and eventually cure myself).I've tried all the reset commands and other tricks (do a sidequest with Vilkas as a follower and visit the Glenmori Coven first, etc) but no results. There appears to be a bug when you accept Vilkas's Purity quest before Farkas. I've tried whatever consoles I could find and I did the first Purity quest too long ago for me to go back, so I can't load the previous save. ", but immediately close the dialogue box. Farkas and Vilkas are not giving the Purity quest and so I can't cure beast blood. The first quest Farkas gives you after you go through all the introductory stuff with the Companions is bugged out for me. Alternatively, wait until Vilkas offers the cue dialogue of "Is there any work to be done? On Skyrim, I'm trying to get Vilkas to give me the Purity quest. My first thread here Essentialy, my problem is that Vilkas and Farkas don't offer Purity.I have completed every other Companion's quest, and this is the only one left. For some reason, after completing this initiating quest (Proving Honor), the quest shows complete – but the subsequent objective (Talk to Companion leaders about work) never does anything so I’m not sure which quest is bugged. the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim I am doing a "Completionist" run, so this is very important to me. I have already cured Farkas, and I've only been able to do side quests like Animal Exterminations with Aela and Farkas. This will unlock Farkas' quests. If Farkas still will not offer any work, purity quest nor radiant quest, go and speak with Aela and do a quest for her. So basically, keep trying to get quests from Farkas until you have done his Purity. After playing Skyrim 800+ hours (restart 3 times) I’ve learned doing Companion quests are a big part of the game – and enjoying it. The quest appears complete, but I cant take any more radiant quests from the other Companions. Farkas is a Nord and member of the Companions. While, as his twin brother Vilkas puts it, "his brains are not his strong suit", Farkas is respected as a skilled warrior.. If he doesn't have any quests, do another one for Aela (usually one of those stupid Animal Exterminations) then go back to Farkas. He and Vilkas belong to the Companions' inner circle and, as such, are both werewolves. You *must* do Farkas's Purity quest before Vilkas's. To resolve this, accept and finish Farkas's Purity quest first and be sure that the quest giver is following you the whole way through. And they both have to be done for Aela to give you Totems of Hircine. I went to Farkas to get work but he and other members there keep saying that I have been already given a job by Farkas. The only option Vilkas will give me is for him to follow me. So, whatever, I talked to Aela, did another of her extermination quests, then came back to the companions and talked to Farkas who for some reason was now giving me the Purity quest.
